Here’s how information moves through Facet, where clinician review fits, and which agreements apply to your practice.
Your practice stays in charge.
Your practice decides which visits to record, which templates to use, who can access the workspace, and what documentation enters the patient record. Notes and periodontal measurements can be reviewed and corrected before use.
Processing has a purpose.
Clinical audio is processed for transcription. Transcripts, template instructions, and relevant context support draft notes and charting. Appointments and record information are exchanged with Open Dental when your practice enables the integration.
Agreements matter.
Facet’s application includes a Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Business Associate Agreement for practice review. Your practice’s applicable agreement governs the service and handling of protected health information.
The public demo form is for contact information. It is separate from the clinical workflow. Please keep patient names, recordings, notes, and other health information out of demo requests and ordinary email.
The services involved.
The providers used depend on the features your practice enables. This overview explains their roles; it does not replace your practice agreement or the application’s disclosures.
